Minolta Maxxum 7D
My first DSLR and undoubtedly a wonderfull camera. There's no other DSLR out there like this one. None has the amount of controls available or the ergonomics to back them up. It's unfortunate that a great camera company like Minolta has somewhat folded, but this camera will keep taking great pictures for a long time to come.
Minolta 28-75 f/2.8 AF (D)
Minolta 70-210mm f/4 Macro AF
I got this one used off a camera store. I had heard rave reviews from so many users that I simply had to try it. I am amazed at the clarity, sharpness and color rendition of this lens, although the small focusing ring and it's tendency for chromatic aberrations take away from it.
Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Macro AF
This lens rocks, I read about this lens for many months before acquiring one, the images it produces are wonderful. Much better working distance than the 50mm macro and great sharpness all around.
Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX DG AF Macro
A great lens, this was my first macro lens but I find it makes a great overall lens because of it's optics. I've used it for portraits as well with good results.
Minolta 3600HS-D Maxxum Flash and Sto-fen Omnibounce
I'm always amazed at the technology behind Minolta's camera gear, this is a great flash, and being able to use it wireless is a great boon.
The Stofen Omnibounce is a great asset for anyone who photographs indoors as it greatly enhances the capability of bounce flash.
Lumiquest mini-Softbox
This little unit is pretty good for macro (to increase the size of my light source) it also softens the light nicely for portraits. I made a foam mount for my flash since I didn't like the idea of velcro all over my flash head.
The Whibal
Probably one of the best tools I have for my digital photography. I shoot RAW all the time and being able to faithfully reproduce a scene is invaluable to me. I have so many shots of my hand holding this thing I could start it's own gallery.
3' Folding Reflector
Mostly for portrait work and some macro. This reflector is small and light enough to come with me almost anywhere. Now if only I had an assistant...
